This application is an important first step to help us select runners who will help create a diverse and successful MetroWest YMCA 2026 Bank of America Boston Marathon Official Charity Program team.

At the Y, we offer a lot of programs and services for our community. What are you most passionate about?

Our goal is to select runners who can not only accomplish the fundraising and training, but can participate in team activities, including Saturday long runs, monthly team meetings, special events (when possible) like our DREAM BIG Gala and Auction (Early December 2025) and Marathon Community Breakfast (Mid-March 2026). Is there anything that might limit your ability to participant in any or all of these activities?

Marketing Agreement

By submitting this application, I am authorizing and giving permission to the MetroWest YMCA to use my name, photo, and story for media purposes or in MetroWest YMCA videos, newsletters, brochures, website, and other promotional vehicles.

Social Responsibility Agreement

The MetroWest YMCA is a nonprofit social services organization dedicated to Youth Development, Healthy Living, and Social Responsibility. By submitting this application, I am agreeing to respect the Y's reputation in the community and will publicly represent the organization in good faith

Agreement 1

I understand I am responsible for raising my goal (at least $8,000) and if I do not raise the minimum, I will pay the balance myself.

Agreement 2

I understand that I am expected to complete the course in under 6 hours.

Agreement 3

I understand I am responsible for paying the entry fee to register for the Boston Marathon.

Agreement 4

The MetroWest YMCA Marathon team works with the Marathon Coalition which provides weekly practice runs and training tips. I will commit to attending a minimum of 3 of these practices.

Agreement 5

You agree to make efforts to adhere to any health guidelines, regulations, and restrictions (including policies regarding masks, vaccines and social distancing) that may be in place.
